Very Large 19th Century Antique Overmantle Wall Mirror – Painted Frame with Distressed Grey, White & Red Finish
Make a bold statement with this very large 19th-century antique overmantle mirror, showcasing a worn painted frame in tones of grey, white, and red. An uncommon and impressive find, the frame is structurally sound with no loose joints or signs of woodworm. The original mirror glass is richly aged, showing heavy oxidation with attractive spiderweb-style patterns, enhancing its authentic antique charm. There is a small 1cm chip in the glass—not near the edge and non-progressive—as well as scratches and other age-related imperfections, all consistent with its age.
