19th century dark blue and gilt-metal cylinder with openings in the lid. The cylinder gilded and painted with Greek mythical scenes, depicting three different kinds of chariot: The chariot of Poseidon, of Helios and of Chronos. Attractive and decoartive item, possibly a future table lamp.
