About the Item

Beautiful and very unusual large bed headboard by Italian all-round person Luciano Frigerio. The frame is simplistic, which seeks all the attention to the 3 cast bronze brutalist sculptures. In the 1960s Luciano Frigerio designed a series of 'Letti Scultura' or 'Sculptures Beds' in a fusion of bronze to propose a new style of artistic furniture creation opposed to industrial serial production. Frigerio searched for as many excellent materials as possible to combine. He created his own style, which stood out from the industrial produced and modern designs of that era. This piece is in great conditions with a fantastic patina and vintage feeling but beautifully shiny brass.
