George Krause (born 1937) is an American photographer who's early work reflects the life in the black neighborhoods of racially segregated South Carolina. Later on in his career he focused on interpretive projects dealing with cemetery monuments, religious statuary, and atypical nudes. He has work in The Museum of Modern, The Library of Congress in Washington D.C., The Philadelphia Art Museum and The Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts at Harvard.
