Fascinating Antique Volume, "Natural History of Man" edited by John Sterling Kingsley and featuring 275 Woodcuts and 53 full page illustrations. Published by S.E. Cassino and Company. The numerous llustrations and text are a study of the various people groups of the world and their lifestyles, customs and material culture. Dealing with every Continent and its Peoples, the study features illustrations and text on the Eskimos (Inuit), North American Indigenous Tribes, Micronesians, Polynesians, Asian, African and Mesopotamia among many others. The Woodcuts and Illustrations are detailed and quite accurate. The interior front and back cover are decorated with marbleized Ink. 478 Pages. Dimensions: 8.25" wide by 2.25" deep by 10.25" high. Condition: Please see detail photos. The exterior has various signs of age including finish losses and damaged corners and the binding is weak but intact however the interior pages are in overall good condition and eminently readable.
