About the Item
This is an antique mythology book, Days of King Arthur by Charles Henry Hanson. An English language, hard bound fictional work with illustrations by Gustave Doré, dating to the late Victorian period, published 1887.
Known for his retelling of legends and myths, Charles Henry Hanson was a 19th century scholar and writer. Titles by Hanson include The Land of Greece (1886) and The Siege of Troy and the Wandering Ulysses (1894). Fascinatingly illustrated with etchings by Gustave Doré (1832 - 1883) the French painter and illustrator.
