This is a RARE first limited edition of Watson's poems, printed on deluxe japon and bound in vellum. Unwin's Cameo series of poetry was a distinctively packaged sequence of books that caught the attention of the public and attracted imitators. Several of the titles constituted meaningful first appearances, including Watson's "Wordsworth's Grave" London: T. Fisher Unwin, 1890 First Edition 8vo, 7 1/2 x 4 3/8 in. (190 x 113 mm); [2] 76 pp. Limited edition of thirty copies on deluxe japon, of which this is no. 24, with signature of the publisher on the limitation page and SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR on the verso of limitation page. Illustrated frontispiece of Grasmere Churchyard. Original stiff vellum, gilt title on spine, Cameo Series device to front covers and publisher's imprint to rear covers in brown, edges untrimmed.
