About the Item

Presumed to be a Victorian brooch with a contemporary assay mark, this artisan made 14- karat yellow gold disc shaped pendant pin is heavily engraved and combined with an agate surround, accent a large cut citrine quartz stone. The intricate engraving of scrolling leaves done on the 14-karat gold outer ring, incorporates an agate disc center which displays a substantial claw, standard set and brilliant cut, natural citrine quartz stone in a yellow/brown color. The citrine quartz and agate stone's combined weight is 52.48 carat with a bulge factor of 12%. The total weight of the pendant pin is 48.60 grams. The cut and clarity is rated 'Good'. This artisan made piece can be worn as either a brooch or pendant and originates from most likely England.
