Chinese Mid-Century 14 Karat Yellow Gold & Cut and Polished Agate Necklace

About the Item

This necklace may be signed by an unknown maker, but did originate from China and date to approximately 1970 and done in the period Mid Century Modern style. The necklace is composed of 14 karat yellow gold which accents the semi--circular cut and polished agate stones in varying colors. The clasp is done with pierced Chinese characters and marked on the back possibly by the maker, and the gold content. The necklace comes in a red silk envelope with the relailer's import stamp on the inside.
