Broom pendant, necklace by Bent Gabriëlsen for Georg Jensen, Denmark 1960s A broom pendant with slightly hammered round shaped rods, hanging from eyelets. Fully hallmarked with the Danish silver hall marks. Design no. 142. 925 Sterling silver, Denmark. With maker's mark for Georg Jensen and Bent Gabriëlsen. As well as Dutch hallmarked in the eyelet of the pendant with maker's mark of J.W. Roos van Commenée (van Gelder & Co), Amsterdam and this mark is used between 1968-1984. ZI mark is for the Dutch silver and purity of silver 925/000. The necklace is 62 cm length and marked with sterling. The pendant measures 11,5 cm long, 4 cm wide an the depth is 0,8 (eyelet) The weight is 58 grams Bent Gabriëlsen (1928-). After graduating in 1953, Bent worked at Hans Hansen Solvsmedie and worked there until 1969. After leaving the Hans Hansen Company, Gabrielsen founded his own workshop called "Gabrielsen's Guldsmedie". He designed for Georg Jensen and won the Lunning Prize in 1964
