About the Item

This elegant, antique Louis XV barometer was crafted in Paris, France, circa 1960. Square in shape, the wall piece features the original hand painted parchment paper barometer with French inscriptions written in Indian ink. The ornate frame is decorated with foliage and leaf motifs. The mechanism is protected with a glass panel. The decorative barometer is in excellent condition and adorns a rich patinated gilt finish, but we don't guarantee the working order of the item. Measures: 16.5" W x 16.5" H.
