About the Item
The "Perfection" 9ft Hardy Palakona Fishing Rod.

It has the inscription spiralling around the rod, 'The "Perfection" Palakona Regd Trade Mark'. The rod is a 2 piece rod with original hardy alloy tube and canvas bags, fitted with bronze ferrules, spiral 'Lockfast' joint, cork handle with alloy screw reel fitting. Hardy were the first manufacturer to make split cane rods in hexagonal form as The Hardy 'Palakona' rod.
