Ceramic screen/room divider sculptures by Natasha Dakhli, 2021 _______ Dimensions: H 185 cm x L 140cm _______ Modular rotating sculptures made of enameled stoneware, unique signed pieces. A set is available - Production leading time 6 to 12 weeks/ different colors on commission. Featuring fabstracted shapes that feel talismanic in their atmospheric qualities, the design of this playful screen can be adjusted with variable orientations, stated positions as illustrated in the images. This work represent a renewed exploration of the visual vocabulary that characterized the aesthetic of the 60's, the elements recalling in significant ways the iconic style of that decade. Developing a lifetime passion for plastic arts, Natasha Dakhli decided to start with ceramic after many years of interest for 20th century modernism aesthetic. Quickly, she experimented with moulding and forged her artistic identity. At a crossroads between sculpture and design, her objects are intended to take place in the intimate space of the house. Natasha creates pieces as architectures; associating vertical rhythms, working on the movement of unstable balances, making the link between nature and space, she makes up a dialogue between a place and objects that invest our home.
