This is an antique pole screen. An English, giltwood and glass fireside reflector, dating to the Regency period, circa 1820.

Screen print scene presented behind quality glass
Beautiful oval screen, with a decorative surround and prominent surmount
Adorned with relief flowerheads, the leaves sprouting outwards
Blue and black palette to the screen decor, with an ornate foliate bouquet
Screen raised upon a distinctive upright, with fluted detail at the intersection of the frame
Superb arcaded bulb with double scroll motif, above the trio of legs
