About the Item

An English pair of painted wood and mirrored glass folding accent screens, or room dividers, from the early 20th century. These antique accordion style folding screens from England are each comprised of four long sections, approximately 10.75" wide each, connected with hinges. Each section has four mirrored panels at top over a single rectangular-shaped wooden raised panel anchoring their bottoms. The upper mirror of each section is arched. The wood coloring is primarily gray/green. The back-sides are painted, though the mirror is only on the front-facing side. These early 20th century English wooden screens with mirrored panels, would be a beautiful way to bounce light within a large room, to add visual interest and fill voided space within a corner, or simply as a great room divider!
