Sculpta-Grille Bones Screen on Walnut Base by Richard Harvey, 1960s
By Richard Harvey
Located in Culver City, CA
If a space-age honeycomb and a brutalist dream had a baby, it’d be this sculptural stunner. **We ship worldwide—often for the same cost as stateside. Our rates are insane. Message for a quote** This sculptural screen is part of the legendary “Sculpta-Grille” series by architect Richard Harvey, who brought space-age swagger to Mid Century architecture with his futuristic resin forms. Originally conceived for use in commercial spaces like banks, casinos, and mod lounges, these panels were designed to divide space and steal the show. Today, surviving examples are rare—and coveted by collectors, designers, and editors alike. This particular beauty is the cleanest one we've come across: the resin is bright and crisp, and the walnut base is rich, warm, and glowing with just the right amount of vintage character. It’s photographed here in our gallery alongside a Marta Blomstedt style scalloped back chair. We currently have this paired with a Paul Evans credednza, Milo Baughman sofa, and Hans Wegner Papa bear chair and not only does this piece hold its own-- it steals the show and makes a bold mid century modern statement! Use it as a room divider, sculpture, or gallery wall anchor. It’s not just décor—it’s a conversation-stopping design artifact. And bonus: we also have a second screen available, with more patina and a softer, creamier buttery ivory tone. Display one solo for impact, or double up for a modular moment worthy of a museum. Richard Harvey’s Sculpta...

Chic Mirror-Polished or Powder-Coated Aluminum Room Divider or Screen
By Bestcase, Sight Unseen
Located in Brooklyn, NY
The Song screen by Charles Constantine of Bestcase is a more striking, modern take on the Eames’s iconic 1946 FSW screen. Made from mirror-polished aluminum, it also subverts the idea of traditional folding screens, once adorned with mythological depictions or historical narratives, by mirroring the present rather than reflecting on the past. The screen is fully customizable - panels can be added or taken away, with your choice of finish (a powder coated version of the screen is priced at $7,080). The Song Screen is part of Sight Unseen's first-ever furniture collection, creative directed by Sight Unseen founders Monica Khemsurov and Jill Singer and produced in collaboration with Bestcase, a Long Island...

This sleek and beautifully formed Mid-Century Modernist Four Panel Mirror Screen W/Antique Gilt Wood Detailing originates from the United States, Circa 1970. Featuring four panels in total with three sections of glass in each panel. The seams between the panels of mirror glass are subtle and give a good sense of scale throughout each panel. The framework is original gilt wood, slender and minimal with a lustrous red base color after which the gilt detailing is applied. The reverse of each panel is lined with a tagboard backing featuring a lovely geometric pattern in muted colors with silver pointillist detailing at each corner of the grid. Vladimir Kagan Architectural Louvered & Illuminated Room Divider with COA, 1967
By Vladimir Kagan
Located in Brooklyn, NY
An incredibly rare louvered and illuminated room divider in solid walnut floating over a cylindrical brass foot, custom-designed by Vladimir Kagan circa 1967. Six sculptural, marquise-shaped slats are angled at 45 degrees to the frame and flank the light box which houses a single 6-foot fluorescent bulb. Authenticated by and registered with the Vladimir Kagan Design Group, this piece is offered to the collector with all corresponding documents including certificate of authenticity, company letter, related archival photos, and numbered registration plaque. While their archivists have seen similar slatted dividers that Kagan designed (see last image in this listing), they’d not seen one with an incorporated lighting element before and thus feel that this example may well be one-of-a-kind or, at the very least, from a strictly limited run. That said, it seems that this general concept of combining lighting with room partitioning...
