About the Item
Fireplace front made of carved wood. With floral decoration in bas-relief on the central panel. The piece features delicate work with flowers and foliage, evoking naturalist motifs, very fashionable in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The structure is rectangular, topped by an arched finial with decorative inlay in the shape of a shell, adding a very charming ornamental detail. On the vertical sides, fine carved lines and small geometric inlays in light tones lend elegance to the set. It rests on curved cabriolet-shaped feet, giving visual lightness and stability.
The fireplace front, in addition to being functional as a heat shield or aesthetic barrier for deactivated fireplaces, has a strong decorative appeal and can be used as a low screen or a highlight element in classic or eclectic style interiors.
