About the Item

The patina, the form, the function and the overall presentation of this antique Aesthetic Movement mahogany hall tree make it worth a second and third look. It has all the elegance of the stands that were popular in the US and UK at the turn of the 20th Century. The appraiser says it is English or American., but the umbrella tray marked "Parker" has me leaning toward the pond and England. Surmounted by a shaped crest, the back fitted with brass hooks, a mirror, a pierced grill with ball ornament over an outset cabinet fitted with a single drawer and issuing an umbrella bar, raised on turned supports on a rectangular molded base with canted corners and fitted with a brass drip pan marked "PARKER." It is in very good condition and it presents beautifully. Dimensions: 77-1/2 inches tall 28 inches wide 13-1/2 inches deep

The dark chocolate tone and the patina of the mahogany make this table irresistible. It is a cllassical style, mahogany drop-leaf table from New England, manufactured in the late 19th century. It is unmarked. Elegance and it saves space. This table has a past and many "personalities." The rectangular top has a straight edge and two hinged drop leaves with fly supports and squared corners over a frame fitted with a single long drawer. Antique, 19th Century Turned Pine Occasional Table

The beautiful details make this 19th century occasional table a standout. The design is 360 degrees with stylized touches from every angle, allowing for more design options. The pine finish has developed a warm patina, and the turned legs are flush with detail. The table is either American or English, late 19th Century. The rectangular top with molded edge over a corresponding frame fitted with a single molded long drawer, is raised on ring-turned legs, joined by a shelf stretcher. One of the planks in the stretcher is loose and will be tightened. This is a surprisingly sturdy and solid piece with nice design features.
