50s Rare French Mid Century Modern Carl Aubock insp Minimalist Umbrella Holder Exquisite, Minimalist, Sculptural Mid Century Modern Carl Aubock Style French Umbrella Holder Truly one of the most elegant and architecturally spectacular umbrella stands l have ever seen Purchased in France, this 50s modernist design, is a predecessor to the designs of the postmodern era. The base is light hard wood, with a spun aluminum bowl to catch dripping water. Black metal wire, angles outward from the base and spirals like a doodle, creating 3 umbrellas holders. Whimsical and wonderful rare design. Measurements 17.3" H x 18" W x 6.7" D
