George Smith was upholsterer and furniture draughtsman to his Majesty the Prince of Wales, later King George IV. Eleven plates in total, all later framed (last quarter of the 20th Century) in gilt trim and ebonised frames. The examples showcase many different trends of the time from drawing room curtains, in the Regency style.
