Great, bold, graphic gray and cream color block pillow made of 100% re-cycled cotton left over from the fashion industry, from one of the mother countries, Portugal. This hand woven throw pillow will look stylish in any Mid-Century Modern or contemporary home, and adds a touch of rustic charm to any living room couch.

About the weavers:
Rui and Fernanda are the talented couple behind the small family-owned mill that weaves all of our rugs, ottomans, cushions and wall-hangings. We love their passion, drive and creativity, and watching Rui spin yarn from dozens of different colours of thread recycled from the fashion industry is a thing to behold.

Drawing inspiration from the color and pattern found in stain glass work, the Uccle cushion takes its name from an area of Brussels renowned for its Art Deco architecture.
Handwoven on a dobby loom in our studio using soft merino lambswool and a traditional extra weft weaving technique, each cushion is meticulously made by hand.
The cushion is backed with handwoven Harris Tweed and comes with an optional cushion insert filled with British fleece, making this a completely sustainable product.
Two pieces available. Further pieces can be made to order. Also available in Indigo, Grey/Indigo, Papaya, and Piccalilli Yellow.
A bespoke option is available in colours / size of the client's choice.
