Velvet Ikat

Beautiful hand embroidered Uzbekistani velvet and silk Ikat wall hanging or bed throw. This piece of art is about 80-90 years old and was probably used as a wedding dowry.

The loveseat has been newly upholstered in a Schumacher burned velvet fabric featuring an Ikat pattern in cream and beige.

A lovely pair of pillows we created by using pieces from a beautiful old Turkish "jijim", backed with velvet ikat fabric in large polka dots. (sold as a pair.)
