About the Item
This Awanay Black and White Tango Pillow is the perfect addition to your home decor. Handcrafted with locally sourced sheep wool, it features an artisanal, hand-woven design, perfect for a contemporary or rustic living room. The luxury, stylish, and modern pillow is produced with fair trade practices and adds a chic, neutral touch to any couch.
This lovely graphic handwoven throw pillow is made from hand spun virgin sheep wool, woven by hand by master weavers who live in the remote area of La Puna, Argentina, using ancestral techniques. The entire process from shearing to final finish is done within the same family or community. This pillow is made with a unique weave and each pillow takes two weeks to make. The reverse side of the pillow is 100% cotton with a bronze zipper.
By choosing Awanay textiles you are supporting the work of talented rural artisans living in inaccesible areas in northern Argentina.
Available in Ivory/Grey sheep wool, and Chocolate/Dulce de Leche llama wool.
