About the Item

The carpet we present is a rug with the classic Agra carpet pattern. These carpets were once produced in the ateliers of Indian courts to decorate aristocratic residences. Today the best Agra production comes from Pakistan, where highly skilled craftsmen of Afghan descent make carpets in this type of classic design, but with colors decidedly more suited to Western furnishings. The new Agra carpets are very elegant carpets, characterized by a clean and uncluttered aesthetic that is very restrained and well cared for. Therefore, they are an excellent furniture solution in a variety of settings, both classic and modern. These are carpets that do not immediately catch the eye, but they have the ability to become appreciated over time as they continually surprise us with new details.
