This traditional Khotan rug has a shaded navy blue field scattered with floral sprays, hooked floral motifs, and other auspicious designs around central beige roundel containing a flowing vine around a stellar flowerhead, there are stepped angular spandrels in each corner, in a sandy-brown border with linked stylized blue and chocolate-brown cloud-motifs between an inner key-pattern and an outer plain sandy-brown latticed stripe.
