About the Item

An Indian production rug in pastel tones. A large beige medallion sits in a field of delicate colors creating a shaded effect. Even the rich border decorated with floral elements, does not detach from the center and creates with this a set of light tones and at the same time warm. This production was intended for the sumptuous residences of the Maragià and often made at the Indian courts by workers from Persia. For this reason the decorations recall those of Persian carpets, but what distinguishes these carpets is the so different and so refined chromatism. The Amritzar are sumptuous carpets that make any environment elegant and refined.
