Made with hand-knotted wool, this custom rug sample is an exciting new addition to Rug & Kilim’s Classic Collection—its design inspired by a very rare Caucasian rug of the titular Seychour (sometimes spelled Zeikhour) provenance.
On the Design:
A teal field underscores a rich red fox pictorial and floral designs in playful colors—a depiction of old-world culture and rustic charm exemplary of this collection’s look at the most important histories of folk art. Black fringes on the borders mark our signature weft in this collection, and a rich new complement to this nomadic style. It’s an intentional contribution to a classic for a more contemporary level of comfort, and one of the many beauties that makes this collection a sophisticated, smart new language in design.
