A 6x9 ode to transitional rug styles in blue and red, from Rug & Kilim’s Burano Collection. Hand knotted in notably soft ghazni wool, inspired from classic medallion patterns complemented by elegant geometry and floral motifs.
On the design: The medallion plays beautifully with the symmetry and subtle movement surrounding its natural gravity and depth. Ultimately the warm-and-cool play of the colors in these tasteful abrashes striations lends this piece its very time-honored aesthetic. Exemplative of the Burano Collection’s take on distinctive styles, sitting beautifully underfoot with an elegant air.
