Antique Teec Nos Pos Navajo Rug, Early 20th Century Teec Nos Pos is a small community in Apache County, Arizona. The community is located six miles southeast of the Four Corners Monument. The name Teec Nos Pos is pronounced "Tease-Nhas-phas". It is an English variation of the Navajo words "Tiis nazbas", which means "circle of cottonwood trees". The community is located on the Navajo Nation, in an area known as the Four Corners. The Teec Nos Pos Trading Post was established in 1905.
