About the Item

A cute gorgeous hand knotted antique Ersari rug, this piece remained us of an exceptional example of the upholding of the original characteristics and represents the best of Turkman woven art.The great richness of coloring, the originality of the turkman Gul composition, the soft and fleecy wool that is ideally suited for vegetarian dyes and the contrast of the color of the field and the border all have created a beautiful visual woven art. What makes this rug a very rare item in the Ersari group is the size, as most of the antique Turman Ersari are room sizes and very few-if any at all-are scatter size. The rug is in absolute mint condition,no restorations were performed on this piece and all sides and ends are original.
