An elaborately octofoiled navy medallion with a sand bumpy lozenge sub-medallion with en suite extended corners, is set on the rust-red field with a dense floral arabesque pattern. Narrowi navy border of pointed oval palmettes with connecting fat arabesque strap work. Magnificent west Persian carpet from an excellent period, in good condition.
