Persian Floral Red Kashan Rug

About the Item

Introducing an exquisite piece of artistry, this authentic hand-knotted Persian Kashan rug embodies the timeless beauty and fine craftsmanship that define the traditional classifications of Persian rugs. This Kashan rug features a wool pile intricately woven on a cotton foundation, ensuring both durability and luxurious underfoot. The design is medallion floral with wool pile and cotton foundation. Measuring 8 feet 10 inches in width and 12 feet 7 inches in length, this rug adds an elegant touch of sophistication to any home design. There is an abrash in one side of this piece which can be seen in the pictures and the video. Abrash, Derived from the Persian word abrash, refers to the organic variations in the color that occur during the dyeing process. It’s important to note that abrash is not a flaw but rather a reflection of the rug’s handcrafted nature and the inherent beauty of its organic material.
