This carpet is the world famous Kayseri Floss carpet type. It has a very thin wool-based artificial silk thread and uses natural dyes.
Turkish Kayseri Floss Silk Carpet: This piece is approximately 60 to 70 years old and is in very good condition.
This is exactly what makes this rug special! Silk and Wool meeting with natural dyes at the same time. A real artistry is woven into this carpet.
