The old ivory field of this eastern Turkish city carpet of moderate weave and cotton foundation, shows an allover pattern of palmettes, flower and palmette open cruciforms, short and broken stems and numerous other closely set floral forms. Straw border of octogrammes , broad and barbed leaves and inward escutcheon palmettes Pink, green, goldenrod, rust and brown accents.
