Antique Turkish Van Kilm circa 1900
About the Item
A Fabulous flat weave, this klim was hand woven in the town of Van, one of major areas of klim making in Turkey. Pattern consists of three rectangles decorated by rows of rosettes and other ornaments and the whole rug is framed by a graceful black ground border creating a nice contrast with ivory all around panel next to it. Perfect for hanging or accent pieces this klim is very visual and inviting.
There are no restorations on this klim and it is in excellent condition.
