72623, distressed vintage Turkish Oushak Gallery rug with rustic Art Deco style. This hand knotted wool distressed vintage Turkish Oushak gallery rug features three gul amulets in a compartment style panel. There are different symbols in each compartment: some have eight-point starts, ram’s horn, triangles, zigzags, and palmettes. Stepped ziggurats run along the length of the rug. It is enclosed with a botanical border flanked with an outer running water guard band. Enhanced by its distressed composition and waves of abrash sweeping across the field, this vintage Oushak rug beautifully displays worn-in charm with an intimate patina. Bespeaking age and history, this time-worn Oushak rug is the perfect complement to interiors with similar richness and rustic vibes including natural wood furnished chalets, estates, cottages, and mountainside abodes as found in Colorado, Lake Tahoe, or the Adirondacks.
