About the Item
NW Turkey, around 1970. Pile material and chain pure silk. At the top center signed with “Uzubek”. Fine knotting (15×15 knots per cm.). In the elegant red midfield appears an artfully designed 16-pass round medallion with artistic traffic light and chalice pendants, flanked by a floral decor created in infinite rapport with finely drawn flower and tendril motifs as well as 4 light corner wraps decorated with effective fork tendrils. Decorative wave tendril borders run around the midnight blue main border, decorated with palmettes and tendrils in a decorative way. Very good condition.
