This traditional hand-woven Turkish Oushak rug has a shaded coral-red field with an overall design of sandy-yellow, light blue and chocolate-brown palmettes linked by angular vine and issuing further medium blue flowerheads and serrated leaves, surrounded by a terracotta narrow band of meandering floral vine, in a coral-red border of palmettes alternating with serrated leaves enclosing a flowerhead linked by bold angular vine between light blue scrolling polychrome floral vines.
