This a a good, vintage example of a red-field, gable pattern village scatter with a boldly stepped ecru medallion enclosing a tabbed red square. Secondary Memling guls ands tertiary star-octagons in the field. Ecru border with classic four -leaf modules. Wool foundation, coarse-moderate weave of symmetric knots. From Eliko Rug Gallery
