Vintage Distressed Oushak Carpet
About the Item
Scalloped center medallion with palmette end finials wrapped on either opposing end by elaborate floral bouquets with buds and scrolling leaves atop an open field. Colors and shades include: Beige, faded royal blue, ivory, sea foam mint green, chocolate brown bronze and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with hard isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak carpet made in Turkey circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 6'4" x 9'.
