About the Item
:: Shield-like center medallion with oversized palmette design elements. Corner spandrel overlays loosely reciprocate the contour of the main medallion with inwardly directed oversized scrolled serrated leaves. Main border in a meandering vine blossom design motif. Colors and shades include: Dusty rose, blush, platinum, silver, pale coffee brown, hint of dusty powder blue, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with hard isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug runner made in Turkey circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 2'8" x 5'3".
