Drawing inspiration from Mario Buatta and Chintz style, this hand-woven floral Turkish kilim rug gives a lively and light hearted feel with its Bessarabian Rose design. This handwoven wool vintage floral Turkish Kilim rug features two large-scale stylized rose bouquets with leafy tendrils dotted with delicate rectilinear vines and stylized florals beautifully contrasting on the abrashed dark field. The cabbage rose bouquets take centre stage creating knockout drama while the traditional color palette keep it versatile. It is enclosed with a stylized rose border flanked with a peach Meander inner guard band adding depth and interest. Perfect for a front room, living room, dining room, bedroom, home office, private library, sunroom, studio, study, or sitting area.
