handwoven in Turkey originating between 1950-1960, this vintage midcentury 6x10 wool Kilim hails from the city of Malatya, one of our collection’s uncommon but welcomed rarities from Eastern Anatolia with a distinct pattern and colorway. The sharp, meticulous geometric repetition plays well off the contrasting green, burgundy, off-white, black, orange and blue hues climbing the length of the piece, offering a skillfully distinct and aesthetically soothing piece with movement and rarity befitting a variety of projects.
