About the Item
Probably a Bergama from NW Turkey, this village scatter shows a reduced palette with a rather worn reddish medallion with a rosette wreath, on a putty field, and with rosette corners. Octagon and bar oblique motif border. Moderate/coarse weave. Fair condition with visible wear.
