50043, vintage Turkish Kars Rug with Mid-Century Modern style. Full of character and stately presence, this hand knotted wool vintage Kars rug with Mid-Century Modern style showcases an extravagant geometric design in warm beautiful earth-tones. The vintage Kars rug features a large-scale center medallion anchored with large pendants in an open abrashed field with a mihrab niche. It is enclosed with a dark espresso double ram's horn border flanked with an outer floral leaf Meander guard band. The composition expertly uses negative space to let its bold geometric designs take center stage. Warm and inviting combined with the right amount of necessary aesthetic elements, this Oushak rug charms with ease and stays true to dine craftsmanship and the simplicity of Mission style. Perfect for a living room, front room, bedroom, private library, den, mudroom, study, home office, sunroom or sitting room.
