50457 Vintage Turkish Kars Rug with Traditional Style 06’09 x 12’00. This hand-knotted wool vintage Turkish Kars rug is rendered in warm and earthy neutral colors. The vintage Turkish rug features an elaborate grand medallion with elaborate spandrels in a traditional style. The composition is beautifully variegated in shades of camel, brown, ecru, sand, fawn, gray and taupe. Foliate forms extend from the medallion towards the quarter panels while decorative florals reach into the field. A Classic border flanked by simplistic guard bands frame the Kars rug, adding symmetry and formality to an understated handwoven masterpiece in lustrous time-softened wool in earthy and natural hues. Perfect for a living room, front room, bedroom, library, den, mudroom, study, office, sunroom or sitting room.
