This hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak rug features a latch-hooked hexagonal center medallion surrounded by an all-over floral pattern on an abrashed field. Palmettes and vines radiate outward from the center medallion creating a network of stylized floral designs. Outlined mihrab motifs ornament either side of the medallion, while additional eight-pointed stars, which represent spirituality and happiness, are also included.
