Hand Knotted in wool, this 6x9 vintage Zeki Múren rug originating from Turkey, circa 1960-1970, features geometric patterns reflecting mid-century modern sensibilities for a Vintage Turkish rug.
On the Design:
Connoisseurs will admire this vintage Zeki Múren’s design which explores this work as among the works believed to hail from this artist that connote a mid-century modern approach to traditional Turkish motifs. Keen eyes for detail will admire the geometric patterns, also especially floral motifs in green, beige/brown, red, pink, and similar hues. One must admire the sheer attention to craft that achieves this sense of movement—a hallmark of Müren’s rare style.
