This is an antique Donegal carpet woven in Ireland during the beginning of the 20th century circa 1920's and measures 354 x 245CM in size. it has an all over field design with five columns of alternating small scale medallion motifs set on a pink background color. the border has a classical European design that creates a frame around the rug and is set on an ivory background color. This carpet is in overall perfect condition retaining all of its original full pile and has been professionally washed.
