Art Deco vintage cherry armchair attributed to Josef Frank circa 1925 Austria. A beautiful cosy armchair from solid cherry wood with replaced new hand made loose cushions attributed to designer Josef Frank. This armchair shows a wonderful honey brown solid cherry wood frame and we decided to set up with custom hand made pillows covered with lush and colorful Josef Frank design textile fabric for Svenskt Tenn. Throughout the solid cherry wood, which features a wonderful warm and smooth color tone and gets a little Rustic appearance. This armchair could add and capture aspects of cottagecore with its warm wood color tone and the absolutely beautiful botanical pattern by Josef Frank. The loose seat cushions front and back is covered with the magical fabric and so it is made for a long lasting use - turn it up if necessary. The solid cherry frame is shellac polished by hand and in very good condition. Throughout its lightweight this armchair is a perfect addition to your living room - This chair is not very heavy and so it is could be easily handled and re arranged into your living space. Josef Frank ( 1885 - 1967 ) Viennese designer and architect, who is famed for his amazing furniture designs and architecture. His interior philosophy from an eclectic mixture in the interiors is up to date and shows that Josef Frank had the pioneering role to mix high quality furnitures from different periods and styles in unexpected combinations.
